I bet that title got you thinking LOL. In the last few months we have been on many site visits, worked with and spoken to many vets, attended both alpaca and veterinary events and presented workshops and webinars to offer support, experience, our thoughts and our working practices to those concerned with alpaca animal welfare.
We have used our rope restraints to assist castrations, lube to support our scanning work and film work which will be incorporated within the paraprofessional role video for the Animal Ultrasound Association. Now however we are ready for the ‘off’…shearing and supporting our customers and their alpacas is our sole focus for the coming weeks.
As mentioned in the last blog, we are, over this shearing season developing Brookes own 2024 customer list – we are excited to talk to you about this when we see you, but in order to develop this list we are looking after many more of you and your animals this year, we have the infrastructure in place to do this, we have invested in more shearing kit, we have Theo with us as additional on-site shearing support and as part of Theos development plan, plus Lisa is at the end of the phone/email for you while we are shearing.
So, we’re all set... fingers crossed for the weather... see you all over the coming weeks.
Scott
