Collaborations & moving forwards

Well wasn’t January seemingly the longest month EVER, I do hope you animals and you survived the cold spell, wet and expenses that January brought. Hooray for a new month, heading towards Spring, more daylight and shearing well and truly is on the horizon.

We have many developments this year and will share them over this year with you but one we are truly excited to be part of is our collaboration with Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation supporting them deliver a fun, educational session on the subject of understanding alpacas (see pic). If you would like to be part of this session and/or know anyone who may please do let us know very quickly. Due to the nature of the session numbers are small and limited to ensure alpaca walking and hands on experiences are enjoyed by all if you are new, current alpaca owner or considering owning alpacas, or just love them then you will love this session on 2nd March (it even includes a cuppa and lunch 😊) – this is the first of several with a session on alpaca breeding to come – more information to follow on this.

As mentioned shearing is well and truly on the horizon, this years diary and map are now being completed – if we sheared you last year or heard from you last year or this and have booked us in then Lisa will be in touch – for anyone needing shearing this year do please contact us asap via our website and we will work you in and look forward to seeing you all.

One final note – many of you, like all of us loved my ‘Blue Princess’ vehicle, we were all sad to see her go however you will see us this year arriving on site in our new ‘Warrior Princess’ vehicle which by summer will also be happily sharing Dougal our logos face on the back of her hopefully making drivers smile across the country – alpacas always make you smile 😊.

Look forward to seeing you soon – Scott.
